Arrival Port Puerto Morelos

PONANT brings you a brand-new expedition itinerary in the Caribbean Sea, sailing along the Mexican peninsula of Yucatán to Belize andGuatemala.

In Puerto Morelos, Cancún's port, you will board Le Champlain for an 8-day cruise combining idyllic beaches and fabulous dive sites.

Your first ports of call will be Banco Chinchorro in Mexico, followed by Isla Utila in Honduras. These two sites are wonderful for diving and snorkelling in the heart of coral reefs that are home to a very rich fauna.

Your ship will then set sail for Livingston in Guatemala, the heart of Garifuna country, which proudly cultivates an original culture and music that is listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.

Next, you will discover Belize, its heavenly beaches and its wonderful barrier reef, home to the emblematic Great Blue Hole, one of the most stunning diving spots in the world.

Le Champlain will then sail to Isla Mujeres, a small island off the Mexican coast that was once a holy place where the Mayans worshipped Ixchel, the goddess of childbirth, before reaching Puerto Morelos, where your expedition to the heart of the Caribbean Sea will draw to an end.
